We arrived there around 8:15pm making good time... nice driving Trev! Before we even left Logan was showing signs of sickness here and there which I was a little concerned about. We woke up Saturday and one of the first things Logan says is that his "tomach" hurts. Uh-oh... not a good sign. I thought it might have been because he was hungry so we had a good and healthy breakfast that he barely ate. After breakfast we had a little Easter egg hunt downstairs which the kids really enjoyed.Wednesday, April 7, 2010
Easter Twenty-Ten
We had been planning this quick, but fun trip to Mt. Pleasant for a while now and we were looking forward to it. Trevor got off work early on Friday and we left around 1. This is what the kids did while I packed:

Each egg had organic candies in them... which Logan didn't care much for. After that, we watched conference. Logan wanted to be held a lot which is really unusual for him and Trevor had to do his homework for about 4 hours so he wasn't really around in the morning. The day went by just enjoying each others company and watching peaceful conference and Logan was getting worse with coughing, a runny nose and yup, the big D. In the midst of all of this Kaitlyn was taking the longest nap that I eventually woke her up from after about 3 hours. After two hours of being awake she was ready for another nap... that's unusual! This is her just after throwing a fit:
So I put her down and we got the kids together to dye Easter eggs. Logan was done after coloring one egg but Shylah and Isaac had a lot of fun.
After about 45 minutes Kaitlyn woke up cranky and Trevor went to Priesthood. Things took a turn for the worst with both children being very clingy. I bathed them and texted Trevor to leave early and pick up some medicine. He did and Kaitlyn was falling asleep in my arms (not normal for her) and Logan was really sick. It was about 7:15pm and we decided to pack up our things and leave that night so the kids will sleep and be able to recover tomorrow at home. So that's what we did. They did sleep the whole way with a short waking period in Cedar City where we switched drivers. We got home around 12:30am. So, unfortunately we didn't get to stay the whole time but we did enjoy are short time there. On Sunday morning They woke up in search for their Easter baskets and a little egg hunt in the living room. When I say 'they' I mean Logan because Kaitlyn could care less :) Logan still talks about how he's going to Utah to color (?) and that Isaac is coming. He runs to our front door to look for Isaac. It's kind of sad because he has so much fun with them and we don't get to see them as often as we would like. Hopefully we'll see them soon! (Sorry it's so long. I didn't know how to condense.)
